This may very well be the reason we don't finish our basement. Last year it happened in a different window..can you say crappy builders! The water is coming in from the sides of the window well. Hopefully today Jared and his Dad will be able to get some of the mud out of there so the 
water has somewhere to drain. At least not a lot got ruined..maybe just the insulation right by that window. Pray for the rain to stop!

That is so frustrating! I hope things get better and that the rain stops!!
I FEEL YOUR PAIN! We've gone through 8 floodings in 3 1/2 years, with a finished basement. It sucks! Once the dirt settles around your window wells it shouldn't do it again. It's just trying to figure out how many times the basement has to flood before they settle. NO FUN!
OH YOU GUYS!!! What the??? I am sorry, hopefully you can get it all worked out! I will do my part and pray for the rain to STOP!
