Crafty or what?

This month for our Girls Night Out we went to a place called "Color Me Mine". It was a pretty fun place..when you get there they have a whole bunch of different pottery things you can choose from to paint, they had so many things--vases, salt & pepper shakers, bowls, napkin holders, plates, dog bowls, etc. Once you have chosen the item you want to paint then you have to choose your colors. It was hard for me..since I am not crafty to find something I would like and then choose colors that would go good together. I finally decided on a Chip & Dip bowl. I think it turned out cute- being the uncrafty person that I am! It was a fun night just talking and having a good time. I am so glad we have GNO every month!

Happy Birthday Brae!

Today is my niece Braelyn's 1st birthday! I can't believe how fast that year went. I remember being in the room when she was born. She is so fun to be around, such a happy baby. It is so fun to have nieces and nephews that I can spoil! I love being around them and seeing them grow up. It is truly one of my biggest blessings! Happy Birthday Baby Brae..We love you!!

BBQ

We had a fun BBQ tonight with some of my High School friends. IT was fun to get caught up on the happenings of everyone. I am glad that some of them could make it. We had some great burgers and lots of good food. We need to do that more often so we don't lose contact with each other.

Lazy week!

I will be the first to admit that I have been very lazy this week. It is Spring Break and I have had the whole week off. I had some things I wanted to do like go to Quilted Bear, and go get my wedding ring cleaned since the place is right across the street from Quilted Bear, which I did on Monday after I went to lunch with Jared. Tuesday and Wednesday I will say I did just about nothing. I cleaned the bathrooms, read my book and watched way too much TV. I did get caught up on Grey's Anatomy. So today I decided that I would clean my carpets. I got a carpet cleaner from my In-Laws a few years ago (I actually drug it around Kohls the day after thanksgiving for Jared's Mom--not knowing it was my gift). So we have lived here about a year, and the carpets needed it. Today they got cleaned and they look so much better!

We went to the Tulip Festival today at Thanksgiving Point..except there was only a few tulips actually blooming! The rest were daffodils, which are pretty too.

We had an eventful day. First thing this morning we went and had our taxes done (nothing like waiting until the last minute), then we took our car to get new tires and had Jeff (my brother) come with us to lunch. We ate at PF Changs--good stuff- after which we went all over the place...the Dutch Store, Orson Gigy, Dirt Cheap, IKEA, Thanksgiving Point, dinner (we were hungry after all that shopping) and then to Jared's parents to watch the Jazz game. It was a fun day!

Jeff & Becca brought us some tulips back from Holland...I am excited to plant them! (Jeff looks retarded in this picture..He isn't..He just likes to make us laugh!)

Yeah for Spring Break! We had early out today and next week is no school which I am happy about! It will be nice to have a little bit of time off. I just don't know what I will do with my time. My friend Susie let me borrow her "Greys Anatomy" dvd packs so I can get caught up on that show, so far it is great! And I need to clean my house, read my book club book and maybe do a little bit of shopping. I am sure Jared has a whole list of things he will want me to go and do! We shall see how I pass my time!

New sign!

We bought a vinyl machine some time ago. For Christmas we did a bunch of tiles for family & friends. I have been bugging Jared for awhile now to help me put something up in our bathroom above the tub. So last night we finally got it done and it looks great!
