Mesquite

This weekend we went to see my Dad in Mesquite. We started out early Friday morning and stopped in Beaver for breakfast and the cheese factory...have to have my cheese! Then we went to St. George to visit the outlet malls where we didn't find a thing! (well I found a swimsuit at Ross but that is going back) after shopping we went to eat at...In-N-Out...of course! We then made our way to Mesquite to my Dad's house, that night we went to a buffet at the Virgin River, which was pretty good. Later on we went to see "Land of the Lost" which was really, really dumb! I guess I kinda expected it to be dumb being that it is a Will Ferrell movie. Saturday we decided that we were going to go to Las Vegas. While we were there we went to Trader Joes and stocked up on some stuff like Lime Aid...love that stuff!
Jared found a Outlet Mall in Vegas that we decided to go too. They had tons of stores like a Nike Outlet, where I found another swimsuit (which is why the Ross one is going back) and Jared found some clothes. Saturday night we went to dinner with my Dad, Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Frank...and then to the casino to donate some money to the community! We are going home today with a stop in St. George for lunch at In-N-Out...I don't know what will happen when that place comes to American Fork..I am afraid we won't eat anywhere else! It was a fun trip!

Sounds like a fun trip. My husband has never been to Vegas and I really want to take him there someday so we can donate money to the community too. :)

I'm just getting caught up on blogs after a 2 week hiatus. It looks like your little trip was fun. I love how you went to the casino to "donate money to the community". Hilarious!
