This weekend we have done a few things. Jared's sister Jennie and her 5 kids are here visiting from Cabo for a few weeks. They came on Wednesday. On Thursday which was Pioneer Day we had a BBQ and lite off some fireworks, which was fun when the neighbors lawn caught on fire..but Jared got that out quick.
Friday night Jared and I went to see the new "X Files" movie. I have to say it wasn't really what I expected..it wasn't typical X Files..there were no aliens which disappointed Jared.
Saturday we decided that we would go with Jennie & the kids and see "Wall.E". This was a pretty cute movie..being a Disney flick and all. Jared and I then went to dinner at Cafe Rio and went to Ross and look around. We have found some pretty good finds in that place, but not last night.
Sunday we went over to Jared's parents to celebrate Aaron & Anson's birthdays with the family. They actually aren't turning 5 until Wednesday and Thursday (twins with two different birthdays) but all the Great Aunts and Uncles came over for homemade ice cream and cupcakes.

5 Bands from High School
I got tagged by Lyndsey to do this one. I just know some of you are going to be thinking "What was wrong with her in High School?" So here you go.
The first band - really song- that I loved in High School was "No Rain" by Blind Melon. I really am not sure why I loved this song so much but I remember being at our school Stomps and going crazy when it came on.
The second band that I listened to quite a bit- and still do- is Depeche Mode. I love their music and I think alot of that had to do with my Uncle Rich (who is only 4 years older than me). He used to listen to it around my brother and I and I learned to love it. And since Jared is the same age we still listen to them now.
The third band is "Backstreet Boys" I just now what you are thinking "Is she nuts" but I liked their songs..catchy tune and all. I even went to a concert with my sister in Vegas..it was fun!
Fourth I liked U2...probably like everyone else. In High School their was a laser show at the Planetarium that my friends and I went too. They had some good songs.
And the fifth band is Erasure. They also had some pretty good songs. I had an aerobic class in High School, we had to make up some kind of routine for the class and I did that routine to an Erasure song. It is another 80's band that we still listen to.
So now please tell me what you listened to in High School Jen, Emily, Kristin & Danielle

Memories
My friend Lindsay had this on her blog, and I thought it looked fun. So here's what you do...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see what memories people have of you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. I would love to hear what you guys remember about me!

Tyler
It is just so scary how short our life can really be. My cousin Tyler was killed in a car accident this past weekend coming home from Lake Powell. He was 15 years old. I just can't believe how quickly it can happen. My Dad called to let me know about this tragedy on Monday morning..it just broke my heart. I need to remember to be thankful everyday..and make sure that my loved ones and friends know how much I love and care about them. I am so sorry for the loss that my cousin Ryan (Tyler's Dad) has gone through..and the rest of the family as well, my thoughts and prayers are with the whole Hibler family.
